The title 豊田だ litterally means “This is Toyota”, in a direct and not so polite way. But it also refers to the founder of Toyota Motor Corporation, Mr. Toyoda. It is his choice of this once quiet village for his first vehicle assembly plant that made the town of Koromo into today’s Toyota-City.
This is Toyota.
